Default Uconn NIT bound or worse

They are currently sitting at 13th in the conference with 2-5 conference record , a 13-7 overall record . If the Big East tourney started today they wouldnt make it . They have a RPI of 91 and a SOS of 77 . I think if they dont win the Big East championship there more than likely NIT bound but if they continue to flounder they'll even miss that which is suprising for a UCONN team even though its a rebuilding year.

Well there struggles continue will a 58-66 loss to Depaul . The good news for UCONN is that the bottom to middle are closely packed . The Bad news thet'll likely need to win the 4 straight in the Big East Championship to get a auto-bid . With them playing like they are now im not so sure they could do that even they mature real fast.

Looks like they're done. They would need to win the Big East tourney and I don't see that happening.

Amazing that they have played so poorly this year. I realize they are young but they are extremely talented and the Big East is just not as good as it was last year, they certainly should have made the tourney this year.

Yeah the Big East has worked in strange ways , Pittsburgh who I thought would of run away with the conference moved behind Georgetown and seem to lose in all the big games, I think that could hurt there seeding, Georgetown losing tonight @ Syracuse getting the Orange closer to a bid and Syracuse is now right on the edge of a first round bye, Marquette have played there way into the middle of the pack. Id have to say at least 5 teams are coming out the Big East with a Max of 7 , thoughts?
