Default Western Kentucky possibly moving up to D-1

They will be moving to Sun Belt confernece if allowed . I hope their denied access. We dont need another on the Division 1 level . There board of regents approved this on a scale of 7-2 in favor , atleast there was 2 members smart on that board . Pretty much the only way there not getting in is if they dont have a average home attendence of 15k which is a regulation by the D-1 . They intend to expand there stadium to 22k from it current capacity of 17,500 . There average attendence this is 9,500 so hopefully they continue to stay in that range so they wont be accepted . If they are accepted they wont be eligble for the Sun Belt conference title or a berth into the Sun Bowl untill 2009

They'll be able to get around the attendance issue. They can play home games vs. Louisville or something on a nuetral field that holds like 50k and that will be all they need.

Don't really see any problem with them joining the sunbelt, it's not going to affect anyone else.

True it doesnt effect anyone or anything but it just pisses me off already that there are too many teams at the D-1 level , and no more are needed
