It's very difficult to make a good movie about sports. All of them are... how to say.. they don't seem real, although often they star real stars.
For example "Play like Beckham" - it's a fairy tale!

"Matchpoint" - about tennis. A beautiful love story =)
"Cosmic Jam" with my favourite basketball player Jordan...
..and there's one more movie about basketball, I think it's called something like "Victory or Success" with Hardaway and O'Neal, it's about a guy who becomes Orlando Magic coach. Not bad at all.

Recently I watched "Mean Machine".
It's a movie about how NOT TO play football. English national team captain is involved in a scandal about England losing against Germany, so he is sent to prison with half of his team. And there, they start playing against the prison guards Very funny.
