Default AP Rookie of the Years go to .....

Vince Young and Demeco Ryans. I can agree with them on the Ryans choice he had a outstanding year finishing 2nd in total tackles among the league behind Zach Thomas with 156 tackles. Now onto the Vince Young award , sure he led the 0-5 Titans to the brink of the playoffs , but IMO he was not worthy . More interceptions than touchdowns , almost below 50 % completion percentage and is overhyped just like Vick because he wins and can run . But Offensive Rookie of Year , where in that does that say most valueable to your team ? IMO it mean best rookie season , Many may disagree but thats how I see this award and for that I give you the snubbed rookie of the year , the man who legally changed his name and added his grandmother last name to his own , the former Bruin and ding ding you got Maurice Jones-Drew , 1300 total yds 15 total tds + a return td . Ive made my points , discuss....

I think Vince Young deserved it just as much as Colston and MoDrew. They should've had a tri-MVP award

Vince Young - I think is just amazing. How calm he looks back there, and how he can run the ball. He can also make some nice throws when needed to. But it is hard for a QB to hop into the NFL, and expect to get alot of TDs and few interceptions. I think he will be a very good future pro. Not the best though, I like Cutler for that I think Young will be the best winner, but Cutler the best QB.

MoDrew- Had a fantastic season. But, if it is by stats, he deserves it, but if it is who is more valuable to their team, not him. But, I like him alot, and think he is a beast.

Colston- If he wouldn't of got hurt, he would've won it in my mind. He is fantastic. What, 6-6? That is pretty big.. Some of the best WRs aren't even that big... He is a great reciever, and had a big year.

I like 'em all, but am skeptical to VY, because I'm a UT fan

Colston is 6'4 but coming out of Hofstra in the 7th and doing what he did was pretty awesome , First 7th rounder to get 1000 yds as a rookie . Anyone saying that they expected this out of him is a liar IMO , he literally came out of no where and put some pretty good stats up .

Colston may have got some help from Brees. I say this because while he was out Devry Henderson stepped in and put up similar numbers. VY took a pathetic team and turned them around. I guess an argument could be made for Drew.
