Default Finally some upgrade Progress

Just as an offical update....

We have secured a company to create our custom skin. And yes this is our 4th try. I feel very confident of this company and have ordered the work.

They are currently 3 weeks out on new orders for custom work however, so we will be waiting a little bit longer. The work I have seen them do as compared to others I was trying to order from should blow people away.

The skin is the FIRST step in the process. As with a new skin, all other add-on's and upgrades have to be reinstalled. No use in doing other stuff now, just to have to do it over again. That is the hold up to this entire process. The skin.

Please help me and others be a little more patient for a little bit longer and we will all be rewarded with new users, a better site, and some very nice upgrades!

Just as a quick overview, this round of upgrades and skin will cost about $500.

The difference will be OBVIOUS once they are complete.

Just to keep you all tuned in to our progress....

Our skinner had a major computer meltdown. He purchased new equipment and is back on track, but had to repair the damage and start over on a couple projects in front of ours.

He let me know the new timeline will be that he can't start ours till the new year. As he put it: "After the Holidays."

He told me he would refund our deposit if we wanted to look elsewhere. I am commited to see what he can do so I held our spot in line and will let you all know once I get another update!

Things are still in progress. Just always a pain when we have to depend on other people.

As always, stay tuned.......

I was told yesterday that we are First in line and he looks to pick back up work about Mid-Jan.

So it still looks like a few weeks, as usual.

It will all be worth the wait though, that is the only reason I have not ran off. This guy does solid work. I am very much looking forward to it.

Stay tuned and I will keep posting updates as I get them

Thumbs up We are almost there!

I have an image of the mockup that has been selected. It will be sliced and coded over the next couple of days and then I can have our tech install it.

Once that step is complete we should be able to start working on all the other upgrades and addtions we have in mind.

Progress that you as a member can see is only a short step around the corner!

Here is the spot to see the initial mock up.

It is not done or quite how it will look here, but gives you an idea of the colors and style we went with. I really hope you all like it!

The skin and it's code is officially in my hands.

I am speaking with my tech on getting it installed with some other upgrades. One we reach an agreement on time and money the work will begin.

I am very excited to start the progress that will physically show some results.
