Just out of curiousity, I went back to the ASM forums to see what the recent topics were about. Saw some new faces around, just starting out, blindly following the leadership. The new batch of donators.

Read some more endless posts of Tahoes self flattery. Looks like Triton's tried to turn over a new leaf, probably figuring there is no other choice at this point but to promote it. He was angry because he ran a search and found ASM traders calling the place a scam. Well, when you deposit money into something and you can't get it back out, WTF are you supposed to call it?

To me, the whole thing is really sad. To see how much time people waste on there really talking about nothing. At the end of the day, most of the information exchanged on ASM is worthless. You could waste entire days reading threads there and not take a damn thing away from it. Doesn't anybody ever get bored with it? It amounts to sitting around, waiting for somebody to buy make believe shares and bitching about how screwed up the place is every day. On the side, you always have the next contest, empty promise or the next big catastrophe of the month to make things 'exciting'. Then there's people who know better,that are promoting it because they have no other choice. If more people deposit, maybe they can get thier money out and run.

In retrospect, the whole thing is so lame it's pathetic. With all the incompitence, strongarming and all the other BS that goes on, I can't figure out why anybody would want to bother with it.
ASMA1s are an illusion. They took the money in and it's gone now. You know it's gone. Guy's like Triton might go for any number of years living the illusion and feeling good about it. All Chris has to do is tell them they're going to split every once in a while and he'll keep Triton happy. Happily dreaming about all the fantasy shares he owns that will never be cash in his hands again.

Personally, it's so frustrating, so much of a hastle and so much BS, that I wouldn't go back if they were begging me and willing to pay me a wage! Seriously. If they wanted to match my salary if I'd come back and trade, I couldn't make it a month. These people are that far away from the type of people I'd associate with in real life. To me, it's that much of a joke and not worth the frustration. Even if they were paying me on the side!

I know some of you are probably pretty depressed about it and I feel bad for you. But don't let this crap rule your life. Let the Tahoes and all the other DAs live in their fantasy world, thinking they're leaders and how they're so smart. The whole thing will come down like a house of cards some day and then you can be happy you haven't wasted all your free time on Chris' stupid game. I regret the time I wasted on it.
