Default SSL Certificate

Hey everyone. I know there was concern about the SSL Certificate. Well i was concerned. I informed Tech support about it the other day and did no good so i went to the forum and posted it. Well this is the response i got from chris.

The SSL certificate is being changed to
Verisign with the U.S. company information.

That is the reason for delay.

Chris

I know verisign is an actual security thing of some sort so we shall see.

Verisign is a company that issues SSL certificates. The current certificate was issued by comodo (http://www.comodo.net). There's absolutely no reason to delay this for a couple of months cause there will be a change of some company information. Certificates can be changed and reissued by security companies if necessary. Just wanna make clear here that the data you send during a deposit or withdrawal is still encrypted, so you don't have to be concerned about that. What I always found strange though is that the rest of the communication your browser does with the site is not encrypted.

Just want to post that ASM has a new SSL certificate in place (since 10-11-2006 1:00:00). It's issued by http://www.usertrust.com and is registered on the Delaware address of the registration company (no actual address but one that many companies use).
The certificate is valid till 11-11-2007 0:59:59.

CN = www.allsportsmarket.com
OU = Direct NIC Pro SSL
OU = Provided by Intercosmos Media Group
OU = I.T.
O = AllSportsMarket.com, Inc.
Object Identifier (2 5 4 9 ) = 108 W. 13th Street
L = Wilmington
ST = Delaware
Object Identifier (2 5 4 17 ) = 19801
C = US

You can login at https://www.allsportsmarket.com. That way all the communication with the site is encrypted. ASM probably has no idea that it's working already, cause normally they are really quick when it comes to complimenting themselves.
