I just got another post deleted by Stephanie the forum witch. It's really starting to be a waste of my time.

That reminds me of something. I know there's this "ASM feed" or something for stock information. To the computer nerds out there: wouldn't there also be a way to automatically monitor the ASM forums and forward every new post to some place? Like search engine robots or something? That way, we would know how many posts get deleted without having to put a watchdog in the ASM forums...

BTW, I saw your conversation with the deletion.. that would be funny if it weren't that sad actually. Stephanie doesn't have any problems with other threads like the virginia tender offer thread that are already WAAAAYY off topic.. yeah right.. yet another lame excuse.
I think, when you called her the forum "witch", you got one letter wrong....

I on the other hand would like to know why Tahoesb, mine, and others posts were deleted?

They were NOT vulgar or derogatory.

Reason?

Slinger, may I ask what information was deleted on the ASM forum. Since Chris thinks this is all so important, I'm curious which information he couldn't handle.

Tripple if i remember correctly, Tahoesb and Slinger were discussing the effect of the bill on money transfers to and from sportsbooks. They were discussing starting up new businesses that took money from US clients ... deposited it into foreign banks and then isuse the money to the sportsbook of their clients request. Slinger mentioned it would be like the days of prohibition or something along those lines.

I remember reading these posts. I guess Chris didnt like the solicitation of a new business idea in his forum. Is this in the TOS?

He just hates competition. A lot of posts in a thread about a sports stock game on the eurosport website were deleted also.

The internet is WAY too big for the US govt. to stop or put clamps on. People will read the new laws and get to work on ways to work around it. There will be "grey" areas that are not included in the laws that will still be considered "OK" and on line gaming/wagering WILL GO ON.

I think Chris didn't like the fact that we pointed that out, and that ASM will not be the ONLY way to play sports online.

Apparently we CAN talk about how the laws will make ASM better and better, but NOT about how it won't affect internet wagering, or how it WONT make ASM any better. Talk about being one sided. JESUS!

Slinger, are you suprised? Isn't that how it works with every topic? These people don't want to be the least bit realistic. Waaayy too many people love their gambling and EVEN IF they do manage to ban every sportsbook on the net, I highly doubt many of those people will want to do ASM. Lets face it, making a few cents a win just isn't the same as doubling your money. These people play for the big pay offs and enjoy talking and BSing about the capping aspect of it. To assume that all the gambles are going to flock to ASM in droves is nuts. But, that's exactly how it's going to happen in Chris' dream world. And don't try to say anything different!
