Default Quarterly payments reduced to 10%

Effective January 1, 2007:

The 25% quarterly dividend payment on all Sports Derivatives
will be reduced to 10% from the present level of 25%.

The final payment at the 25% rate will be Q4/2006.
The first payment at the new 10% rate will be Q1/2007.

More and more I'm starting to think that the last quarterly payment caused all these withdrawal problems. Nobody wanted to reduce this percentage in the thread that was started about getting rid of the quarterly payments. ASM probably didn't have over $200,000 ready for possible withdrawals. Not a good sign I think about the way ASM deals with our money. But on the other hand seems like ASM is thinking about 2007 at the moment, so only 2 25% quarterly payments to go. Curious what will happen after the next one. Or maybe we'll have that article before september 30th and everybody starts depositing so there won't be any problems. Wouldn't need to start a free share giveway for deposting right now then?

I am for getting rid of the quarterly's all together till we reach a solid daily trading volume with some 50,000 or 100,000 ACTIVE traders. Otherwise the quarterly just drains the reserves creating no volume and making ASM worse.

I invested all my money in FIFA shares. And with an average of about 8 games a year the 25 percent quarterly was not really draining those reserves. And there are other leagues like the NFL europe which has 10 games in a 10 week period. 25% is fine for these leagues. I rather want to see a stop on these IPO's. You can ask for 50,000 or 100,000 traders but at the current IPO rate we will not have any volume then also.

I am willing to bet we only have about 1500 ACTIVE traders at this moment.

Give me 50,000 - 100,000 and I would be more than happy to keep the quarterlys.

I just meant to say that if the exchange is growing to 50,000 - 100,000 traders at the current rate then the IPO's need to stop otherwise we'll get more teams than active traders (if we haven't already ). If we get 50,000 - 100,000 active traders instantly then I agree with you, but this ain't gonna happen.

Likewise I see you point with FIFA A List.

Each league needs it's own formula with payouts and quarterlys. You can't just pay X for each league. That is nuts and can't work.

I was all for getting rid of the quarterly payment all together. All it does is take away from trading.

I had just started investing in FIFA as well because of the 25% payout on those big pots and now the big payout is gone on that.

ASM needs to make a decision and stand by it. They also said that no changes were going to be made on the payouts for 2 years after the last change...

guess that is one deadline they beat!
