Default When is the best time to buy?

Buy low, sell high right? This is the ultimate way to make money on any market.

So when is the best time to buy? When are shares the lowest? What is the best time to sell? When are my shares worth the most?

These are all questions that you will need to learn the answers to in order to be the most sucessful you can be with your investments.

Here is what I have seen as a trader so far within ASM...

Sectors seem to "peak" right up until the start of the season. Then the winning teams keep on climbing and the others fluxuate depending on Dividend Reserve size. The highest prices are usually at the 1st part of the season, unless the reserves keep growing and don't empty too soon, then the high price will come towards the championship as the reserves grow substantially.

So in turn, the lowest time I have found to buy is mid offseason. You may be able to grab some steals right at the end of the season if the reserves are pretty empty and people want to "dump" to get out and into the next sector. I find that buying 4-6 months prior to the season opener seems to be working for me so far. Then through the season you make make a 100% Rate of Return and then can keep those shares over and over, year after year or sell some for a huge profit and grab the next offseason sector.

This is just my personal experience. I would love to hear other's takes on this as well. Just want to help everyone become as efficient traders on ASM as possible.

Just look what is happening with the NLF low-floats right now....There is a reason the game pots are soaring. Conversely, look at MLB right now - as you have pointed out it hits its peak right at season's open and has been on a steady decline. The cycle is totally true. The question is whether you are a long-term growth holder or a quick flipper. Each strategy can be valuable. Personally, I'm a flipper. I started buying low-float NFL stocks 6 weeks ago, namely BCCNR, COLTS, JAGRS, STEEL, and TITAN. They have all had huge increases in gamepots and have all gained in paper value. Other than TITAN for obvious fan reasons, I doubt I will be holding any other NFL shares when the season starts.
