Now that I have a job ....which should I go for.....Xbox 360 now or wait for the Playstation 3...and yes theres the Nintendo Wii ...but theres no way im buying.....Help me decide im a Playstation fan and am wondering should I just go for the Xbox 360 now and forget the expensive Playstation ...or stay true to my favrorite....If anyone has a 360 could you give me some details of it....tks in advance

I am an xbox fan. They hardware is far superior and in my mind the games are more geared for the adult in mind. I am 26 and not into kiddie games. Just my 2 cents

From a hardware perspective, the Xbox 360 is slightly weaker than the PlayStation 3, but not by much. It sports a similarly powered processor (the PowerPC CPU used in the Xbox 360 was developed by IBM, as was the CELL processor used in the PlayStation 3), and can push a comparable number of polygons. Based on the demonstrations at E3, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are neck and neck in terms of visuals.

That only says in visuals. And why bash on comp gaming ? It's way better then what you have. You can still have a controller and can still hook it up to your tv.

I guess if I had a computer that was good enough to run games id like.....but I dont know if I told this to ya before but my computer is so bad that even when I was playing Madden 2004 the damn game would lag ....so I couldnt imagine how bad it would be for the games that came out this year.....

and that article has 7 pages where it compares the both of the systems ....I think it tells how Xbox 360 is slightly worse than what the PS3 will bring on like the 4 page and the only reason I brought up is because slinger basicly said the 360 hardware dominates what the PS3 will bring when that is totally inacurate

I didn't mean to be mean with that post im sorry. I just meant it was better then the systems. I can see where your coming from and 1 advantage is you ussually dont get the bsod(Blue screen of death) and you know if its out for your console it can handle it .
