Default I think I finally found my position!

Well I have played 6 positions in the last 3 years, including defense, in football. Here is when I played them:

6th-Split-End, Cornerback

7th-Quarterback, Cornerback

8th- Story on this one. Well I started wanting to play I-Back and Corner, so I played I-Back for about a week and a half. Then they decided they need my speed at Wing-Back, I said "ok" and took as an honor that they thought I was versatile. After 2 weeks of playing Wing-Back they all of a sudden decided to move me back to I-Back, not only that change, but also from Corner to Free Safety. The reason they changed me to Free Safety was, "We need to have your speed back there". After only knowing the Wingback plays for 2 weeksm I was completely lost on my blocking assignments, but figured them out quickly. I think that I-Back is my position because in the first play I was in we ran a "Pro-Left 33 Iso" where I take the ball and run right through the 3 hole (past the leftguard). Well I took the hand-off and there was no hole, so I bounced it to the outside and ran for about a 25 yard gain. Then today we did this play the other way against a "Goal Line Defense" This time I took the hand-off went right were I was supposed to and got about a 10 yard gain breaking 2 tackles. Now I am not very big at only 5-6 113lbs, so I thought that was good. So I am very excited!

Thanks! lol. BTW I am number 5.

At my football camp about 4 weeks ago I ran a 5.3 40-yard dash and had a 28 inch vert. Is that good?

Not bad for your age. If you find a professional to teach you how to PROPERLY excersize and lift some weights, you can really be great come higschool.

But I would only say do those things with the professional instruction.

An injury can be career ending at an age when the body is still growing.

Yeah injuries suck, too! I broke my wrist in 3 places once, that stopped me from playing football . I know of some places in San Diego, Atlanta, and other cities that do that. Sad thing is I live in Nebraska. I think I might be going to the NU football camp. Just gotta save up my money! Thanks for the encouragement! Would you consider P.E. teachers professionals? Or our High School football coaches?

It really depends on the coachs but some have a really good stregth/conditioning program and some dont have the first clue about football . GL with your football career . Work hard and when you think you cant do anymore work even harder . A great work ethic is always good . If you work really hard a 4.40-4.50 40 y.d isnt out of the question

Ok, well I am a starter on Defense, Kickoff, and also punt return/block (but that is just whoever is on D). I am 2nd on Offense and Kick return.

When the game started the recieved. So I started on defense. Our defense played great for the first 3 quarters. We had won the field position game until late 3rd. On thier first possession we forced them to go 3 and out. Our offense didn't play so well, though. Also going 3 and out. **Fast forward 3 possessions** They got the ball and they were on thier own 5, they go with a flare pass to the back. Going nowhere, but back. Now on their own goal line, SACK! Safety! SCORE: Beatrice 2, Marysville 0. Nothing happens for awhile with our Offense line not being able to win the battle. So few minutes into the 3rd quarter, their backs were against the wall again. Again SACK! Safety! SCORE: Beatrice 4, Marysville 0. Again nothing happens, but us stopping them. Except our 1st IB fumbling!
Our first string IB fumbled about 3 times! Giving them great field position. *Fourth Quarter Now w/ about 5 minutes left* So now they were on our goal line. So we went into Goal Line Defense. First play their pass was incomplete. Second play. (In our goal line we play Man-to-Man) I had teh TE, or second eligible reciever, and he went the other way, while the wide-out went straight. So I went the other way and our CB got beat. While I got chewed out! Touchdown Score Beatrice 4, Marysville 8, time ~5:00.
*Fast Forward about 2:30 left*
Now our offense got the ball. This time no fumble! We went straight down the field. Into the red zone with about 1:00 left. Pitch got stopped at the 1. Bootleg pass, right through his hands! Now 3rd down and touchdown right up the gut! Score Beatrice 10, Marysville 8, Time: 0:04. Kick off now we squib it. They get the ball with 4 seconds left! Last play I play VERY deep they have about 60+ yards to win. They snap the ball, Hail Mary, I keep backing up in my zone. Our Left Corner got beat, the throw is right on the money, I run over there and we got him! They needed about 30 yards to score and the last person between them and the win gets him, Me! So now the score is Beatrice 10, Marysville 8 Time: 0:00! We won!

BTW: this was their last game! While it was our first!
